Paul Pierce was a first team All-American in college and his legacy has lived on ever since. He has led the Boston Celtics to many wins and will always be remembered as a Boston Celtics legend. Pierce is a nine time NBA All-Star and has also won the NBA three point competition. In 1999 he made the NBA All-Rookie first team. He also holds the record for the most consecutive free throws made in the NBA playoffs which is 21. Another record he holds is the most free throws made one quarter which is 10. He accomplished this record in 2008 in the NBA finals the year they beat the Los Angeles Lakers. Pierce is an NBA legend even though he is still playing.

Paul Pierce is a well known NBA player. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 1998 and was the 10th pick in the first round. Pierce was raised in Inglewood California and he also played his high school ball there too. Pierce played college basketball at Kansas University and was drafted after his junior year. Early in his NBA career he was stabbed multiple times in the chest at a Boston night club but ended up surviving the attack. Later on in his career the Celtics ended up acquiring Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett and the Celtics ended up winning the championship that year in 2008.
